Over the past years, the Bucuti Tara – GMC Nature Preserve has partnered with numerous local and international volunteers to advance its sustainability and community initiatives. Together, they have planted more than 1,200 native trees and plants, contributing significantly to the island’s biodiversity and ecosystem restoration.

Through these collaborations, the preserve has promoted environmental stewardship, education, and community involvement — strengthening its role as a model for conservation and responsible tourism in the Caribbean.

Below are highlights of these collective efforts and the dedicated volunteers whose passion and commitment continue to make a lasting impact.
